Fuel Grade

  • Gasoline Engines: The Jeep Wrangler Sahara's 2.0L and 3.6L gasoline engines are designed to run on regular unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87. Using premium gasoline is not recommended, as it does not provide additional benefits.

  • Diesel Engine: If equipped with a diesel engine, the vehicle requires Ultra Low Sulfur Highway Diesel fuel (15 ppm Sulfur maximum). Using fuels with higher sulfur content can damage the emissions control system.
