  • Hard Reset: Disconnect the battery for a few minutes, then reconnect.
  • Check for Updates: Go to Settings > System Updates on the Uconnect screen.
  • Factory Reset: Navigate to Settings > Reset > Restore to Factory Defaults.

Bluetooth Not Connecting

  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
  • Remove old pairings from both Uconnect & your phone’s Bluetooth settings.
  • Restart both your phone and Uconnect system.

Try pairing again:

  • Press “Phone” > “Add Device” in Uconnect.
  • Select “Uconnect” from your phone’s Bluetooth list.
  • Confirm the pairing code.

CarPlay / Android Auto Not Working

  • Use a high-quality Apple-certified (for CarPlay) or OEM USB cable.
  • Try switching USB ports (Jeep Sahara typically has multiple USB ports).
  • Restart both your phone & Uconnect.

Ensure CarPlay/Android Auto is enabled:

  • Go to Settings > Smartphone Connection and check if it’s enabled.

For Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, enable Wi-Fi & Bluetooth on your phone and reconnect.

Lane Keep Assist Not Functioning

System disabled:

  • Press the Lane Keep Assist button on the turn signal stalk to enable it.

Speed is too low:

  • Lane Keep Assist activates above 40 mph (64 km/h).

Camera blocked or dirty:

  • Clean the windshield area near the rearview mirror.

Poor lane markings:

  • The system may not work in areas with faded, obstructed, or missing lane markings.

Driving conditions:

  • Heavy rain, fog, or glare from sunlight can impact performance.

Power Liftgate Not Opening

Make sure Lane Keep Assist is enabled:

  • Go to Uconnect Settings > Safety & Driving Assistance > Lane Keep Assist.
  • Clean the front windshield where the camera is located.
  • Check lane markings – The system works best on well-defined road lines.

Parking Brake Won’t Release

  •  Check if the doors are unlocked.
  • Try opening manually by pressing the handle.
  • Hold the key fob button for a few seconds until the liftgate opens.
  • Check for obstructions in the rear area that might block the sensor.
