Fuel Grade

  • 3.6L Engine: 87 octane (Regular)
  • 5.7L Engine: 87-89 octane (89 recommended)
  • E-85 or higher ethanol blends should NOT be used.

Roadside Emergency: Spare Tire & Tools

  • Spare Tire: The Jeep Grand Cherokee may come with a full-size spare tire or a temporary compact spare tire, depending on the trim level and configuration. Models with a third-row seat have the spare tire mounted underneath the vehicle, while two-row models store it under the cargo floor. If equipped with a collapsible spare, an air pump is included for inflation before use.



  • Tools: The vehicle includes a scissor jack, lug wrench, and a jack tool bag, all stored beneath the cargo floor in a designated compartment. Some models may also include a tow hook and an extension handle for the jack. It's recommended to check their location and condition periodically to ensure readiness for emergencies.

Where to Find Registration & Insurance Docs

  • Typically found in the glovebox/glove compartment or center console storage compartment.

 

Built-in Navigation

  • Navigation System: The Grand Cherokee features Uconnect Built-in Navigation, providing turn-by-turn GPS guidance with real-time traffic updates (if subscribed). The Passenger Screen (if equipped) allows co-passengers to search for destinations and send route suggestions to the driver for approval.



  • Map Updates & Features: The system offers customizable routes, voice-guided navigation, and over-the-air map updates. It supports fastest route, shortest route, and alternate paths to enhance travel efficiency. Regular software updates ensure optimal performance and accurate mapping.
